1-What does Russia/Putin want?
Well everything. To be a superpower. To return to its glory days of the past, when it had vast amounts of territory, including Ukraine, Baltic States and even Finland! And to promote its version of conservative values. Meaning-- hating the West and their meek, genderless and infertile citizens. Instead promoting Russian conservatism-- enormous manly yachts, and males prancing in bulging tights at the Bolshoi ballet.
2- Why are so many Americans indifferent about the Ukraine/Russian war?
Because they can't comprehend what a madman Putin really is. That he will never be satisfied with just a taste of Ukraine. (Much like my neighbor can't comprehend why her dog ate their pet bunny). Americans are too naive to understand despots.
