In his Mickey Mouse brain (and yes, he was a liberal arts major!) if you blow up the National Center for Atmospheric Research -- Climate Science will simply melt away, like any other inconvenient glacier. That somehow climate is not intertwined with weather and the earth.

Kook Vought doesn't spend any time actually visiting scientific agencies. Meeting scientists in person, understanding their character and what motivates them. Reviewing the hard ass scientific curriculums that got them to where they are today.
